Mommy Time

Moms! Where do you find time to get exercise in? Between work (or being a stay at home mom), cooking, cleaning, and chasing kids, there hardly seems any time to get a workout in. I’m almost 9 months postpartum of my second child, and I’m strugglingggggg. My weight is horrific (262 pounds). Between two kids, I’ve gained almost 100 pounds in the last three years. It’s unreal. I’m really trying to put in my grind and eat less, workout more.
What I have found that is helping is to sneak in the workout when my youngest is asleep. He goes down for bed rather early (thankfully) and my husband (thankfully) now has a work schedule where he is home early enough to help me with our toddler. I sneak into our room and do some Leslie Sansone “Walk Away the Pounds” videos or yoga. I’ve lost almost 3 pounds this week and starting to get some stamina back.
I think the trick is to sneak the exercise in anytime you can. I’m not sure how long this will last, but I’m crossing my fingers it lasts a while!
