Getting At It Again

I am getting at it again. I have gained too much weight and am losing too much muscle and strength. I've done the Spark program before, but I am going to try it again. This time I am going to take progress photos in my full length mirror, so I can see how I am doing. I'm also going to weigh in on Sunday's and take my measurements every Sunday.
I've been feeling a little defeated by the weight loss thing. I have tried it so many times, but without much success. I don't know why, but exercising in front of my husband makes me really self conscious. But I am going to have to learn to do it, since he is home with me all the time. I've tried to recruit him before without much luck, and he does tend to sabotage my progress.
I'm just going to give it my best try emoticon emoticon

    Welcome back to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. You have to make you #1 and tell yourself that you are worth it. If you don't take care of yourself you can't take care of anyone else. Most of what you said could apply to me as well. Sounds so similar to my story. We can do it! We are here to help!
