Anybody?

Does anyone else have the nerve to admit they hate eating lettuce and other greens? Blech! Leaves have never been my thing. And everyone around me is eating Keto. High fat and meat meat meat. Ok. I’m done. Day two, sticking with my calorie limit. Win.

    It's funny how so many peeps speak up against keto---which has been around for about one hundred years now. It was started by doctors--so I can't veto what is working for so many, including myself. I no longer have food cravings, and since I began keto 3 months ago, I have dropped 20 pounds and two sizes. I will never plan to go back to the traditional standard diet ... which kept me fat.

    As for salads, and greens, I LOVE them, but my salads are robust and full of flavor. It's all what a person does to any dish for that matter.

    I agree with not being with Keto. But I have found that with some creativeness I can make a salad I like. I usually as some lean ham cubes or chicken to my salads for the protein with a little cheese. Seasonal fruits and veggies help perking up a blah salad.

    I don't agree with Keto. I don't mind salads with lots of toppings. e.g. radishes, tiny tomatoes, green onions, asparagus, celery, mushrooms. Pick a few of your favourites. Or on spinach I like a couple of sliced strawberries or a few blueberries and a tsp. of nuts. For a bit of protein with it I add 1 Tbsp. of feta cheese with the veggies or a pinch of shredded cheddar with the fruit. Hope this helps you.

    Keto isnt exactly safe, so good for you not to fall into trend. I'm not a huge fan of salads either. I pretty much find all of my food prep on Pinterest!
