Day one. This is a journey that has been a long while coming. I have several college degrees with the education providing all I need to know to lose weight and get my body back into shape. That being said, it is way harder to get yourself motivated to complete all the steps to lose weight than you think. I have made my mind up and set my goals. Today I drank a lot of water and really tracked what I ate. It was actually surprising how few calories I consumed. I was only really hungry late afternoon. But, drinking a couple cups of water help to alleviate that feeling. I also found chewing sugar free gum helped distract me from snacking. This is my journey and each day is one step at a time. I know there will be days when I fall but I plan to get right back up and keep going. So, along the road I will travel to a new destination and goal each day.
