It's hard to think about the New Year when it is only August but this will be the "T" in my SMART goal. With 20 weeks remaing in 2019, I have a 35 lb weight loss goal. I am accountable for my decisions and sticking to my 1500 calorie limit.
Today my grocery shopping was successful and I didn't waiver from my prewritten grocery list. No sweets, just nutrient dense foods.
So far I have been congizent of serving sizes and considering if the appeal of the food is worth the calorie deficit. The upside of fresh produce is fruit. Sweet and usually low in calories, oranges, peaches, apples, and bananas get me through my hungry haze.
I can mix it up and vary flavoring of chicken breast, turkey and beef sausage with premade spice packets and marinades.
After 2 and a half hours of cooking (due to my lack of pots and pans), 3 days of meal prep are ready to eat.
Fact: 1 serving of Australian Barrimunda Fish is 35 grams of protein. In the sea it doesn't eat other fish, only plankton, making up its high omega content and protein profile.
