feeling depressed, sad and alone

today has been a long day, I have been sorting through boxes of memories, looking at cards and letters my daughters gave me as the years passed by, it makes me sad cause my two children are not speaking to each other, and my youngest daughter is not speaking to any of us. I feel like my family is destroyed, It breaks my heart, I am so over weight, my legs and feet hurt all the time, and I just feel ugly, yet I can't seem to stick to a diet , I have no friends , no family, no one who can help or encourage me on. life right now really sucks!!!! Ho do people do it , I see them post on facebook how they lost 50 or 100 pounds, I can't even lose 1,

    thank you to everyone, you are all right, it needs to be baby steps, and one day,one goal at a time . i am not sure where to start. but i do know i don't like the overweight person i have become, I am type two diabetic, I have to take insulin 4 times a day. my belly gets so sore with all its bruises from the shots. my fingers are tender from testing five times a day, so yes something has to change and only I can make that change. with all of you to encourage me I know it can be done, I know i will fall off the wagon but I am determined to make myself healthy, again thanks for all the encouragement it means more to me than you can ever know.

    I think that maybe you need to forget the troubles of everyone else, despite how hard it is, and concentrate on yourself. If you don't help yourself, you won't be able to help someone else! Focus on one goal today and work on it. Keep working on that one thing until it becomes a habit than find a new one. Maybe for today, only drink water. Being properly hydrated will help with weight loss. You have to love yourself before you can love someone else! You are worth it!

    Life is a challenge. Live today being grateful for something. Perhaps a piece of fruit. Appreciate all the people that made it possible. Sorry for your day of sadness. This is a beautiful place to be. Stand tall and make it possible for tomorrow to be better than today.
