Today I did some house cleaning and batch-cooked some venison stew from the venison Troy gave me a couple years ago. It is from Wisconsin bow and U.P. rifle. This meat was tender, fat-free and so mild I cannot tell the difference between it and cow beef.

I have some cooling in freezer containers for future cold-day meals. Next will be chili..

We have very high winds here right now, awaiting the next bout of rain.
Time to get the grill and birdbath put back in the shed for the year.. sigh...
