Confession of a chocoholic

Monday, November 04, 2019

Well one slip led to another, one bite led to a bag and two months later I'd regained twelve of the hard won pounds I'd lost. I got on the scale the other day and it read 219 and I realized I was about to be back into the 220s. I'd been slowly regaining the weight (still recording it or at least seeing it in the mornings) but it hadn't been enough to get me back into the eating healthy groove.

Finally, I've had enough and yesterday I trashed the bad junk and bought good stuff at the store. I did great yesterday, drank my water, ate at the low end on my range, got my steps in. This morning the scale was kind - 217. Back in the right direction.

I've packed my lunch and walking shoes and today is going to be another good day.

I hope.

Please, please let me be strong today. At work today I'm baking donuts and cookies. emoticon Not a good combo when you are weak.

I do know the candy addiction. I suffer from it also. I find that after a fall of the chocolate wagon it takes a few days to get it out of my system. Then I am good. I have put fruit and nuts in my home to replace the candy.
