I like lists. They keep me organized. This morning I checked two more things off the to-do list.

I rotated the clothes I've been wearing this Summer with the warmer clothes for Winter. I collected some for donation to our local Salvation Army. Cleaned out the coat closet. Someone will be glad for warm coats, hats, and gloves. Added them to the stack of things to take to their donation center.

The Salvation Army does such wonderful work here. They receive some support from United Way but it is not enough. There are also needy people who fall between the cracks because they don't meet the U.W. standards for funds. The S.A. Bed and Bread Club is one way to give monthly financial donations to help meet these needs. Even small donations add up over the year. Please help when you see the bell ringers and Christmas kettles. If you are able, sign up to be a bell ringer.




A side benefit of the weight loss is increasing energy. Not ready to run a marathon yet but I find myself wanting to get up and do stuff that I might have procrastinated doing in the past. For this, I am grateful.
