Got my walk in early today, and that helped

I walked over to see my mom this morning, instead of driving, a mile and a half each way.
I don't have time to do that every time I go, because I'm over there 3-4 times a day and that's over an hour round-trip, but when I have time it's a nice way to get in my minutes.
The challenge is still helping me take care of me, while I'm taking care of her, which is so important. Put on your own oxygen mask first! I'm using my SP food and exercise journal to make sure I'm getting the healthy food I need, as well as the fitness. This week we're using a 9" plate, which I often do anyway so that's easy, and celebrating not eating mindlessly, which I love. If I'm going to pass up temptation, I want to get some points for it, LOL!
Honestly, it has been so great, being on this challenge while facing so much stress. My pants are feeling loose and with the holidays coming up I'm sure that's not my usual for this time of year.
