Winter Onederland - Goal Tracking and Setting

While listening to the Chieftains Bells of Dublin, BOOGIE ONEDERLAND keeps my toes tapping. I am so proud I reached my goal of Onederland by the end of 2019. 70 pounds lost since the end of May. Rocking it!

Thank you to the Sparkpeople community and my NEON NINJAS team for all the love and support. We can do this! We are doing this!

I am wearing two significant clothing items today. I am wearing the same mistletoe pants I wore last year. Last year they fit like leggings, this year they are loose like palazzo pants. I am also wearing a favorite green cardigan that I haven't worn in years. Festive attire that reinforces my progress -> Winning!

To all those who may be beating themselves up for too many cookies or candy canes - please don't give up. This is a long, life-long journey. One day's overeating doesn't cancel out months and months of hard work. One week's indulgence may be just what you need at this dark and stressful time of year. Love yourself and acknowledge what you need today and look forward to tomorrow.

My next goal for the new year? 175 - overweight rather than obese - by March 30. THEN NEXT STOP NORMAL RANGE. With your help and support, I GOT THIS. We'll get there together!

    Congrats on your success! I need some tips and tricks - and a slap upside the head. I can't seem to believe in myself anymore. I am at my highest weight now, having gained back every ounce, and then some. I know the thyroid is an issue and being under medicated does not help, but I need to somehow convince myself that it can be done in spite of the thyroid.

    I had a big slip in Nov. so only down about 27 # for the year but like you said this is a life-long journey.
