We are entering a new decade, one which will bring my 50th birthday, my oldest turning 30, my youngest turning 10 (this year!) and my marriage entering it's 20th year (in 2025.) This past decade we began with my youngest being born, my oldest turning 21, losing my sweet Momma (2017), my hubby turning 50 (this year) and learning to deal with health struggles that were above and beyond anything I could have imagined for all of my family. I have been on an emotional roller coaster and a weight roller coaster as well. I know, for a fact, that I have no choice but to get my body in gear before I fall apart at the seams! I have too many people to be there for who depend upon me and I have too much to do in the next 10 years to be incapable because of my weight! While most people would look at me (5'9" and just about 186 pounds depending on the day) and wonder why I'm pushing so hard now, I know that if I don't that time will be against me, not with me. Plus I have 2 daughters who need a GOOD example, not this pathetic one I've presented the majority of this past year. So now to celebrate the 20s in the best way possible - hear me ROAR!
