2019 Results, 2020 Goals

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great Christmas (or Hannukah) with your families and friends. Here's to a happy healthy year ahead!

In 2019, I made major changes to my weight loss program. I joined WW (formerly WeightWatchers) in February. My overall results:

I lost 45 pounds emoticon

When I started tracking my steps in October, I averaged 10,000 steps per day emoticon

I'm wearing smaller clothing size

I've totally changed my food choices for better nutrition overall. I still follow most of what I learned on the NoS (no snacks, no sugar, no seconds -- with some exceptions) diet, but I will continue with WW. The tracking, support, and easy app on WW have made it much easier for me to succeed.

My goals for 2020 are to continue to lost weight, and to reach my goal weight (about another 35 pounds to go). I will continue to track my food and exercise daily. I will probably have a knee replacement in June, and my goal for the recovery period is to simply not gain weight. And my exercise during that time period will likely be whatever the PT recommends.
