Starting a fitness challenge to bring more joy!

Last week, I was thinking about the times in my life when I was happiest. I realized it was when I was regularly exercising. I had more energy. I got more done. I felt better about myself. And, the endorphins had to help.
So, I've joined a fitness challenge to get back in the habit of exercising at least a few times a week. I have kept up my walking, but I haven't specifically done cardio exercise regularly for several years. It's time! Today I swam laps. And had a great nap. Didn't realize it would improve my sleep. The pieces all fit together don't they? Better health and better mental health.
