Had my weight loss follow up and the doctor was pleased with how I'm doing, especially with having had a family loss over the Summer and all the vacation and people trying to have me taste their fudge (LOL) on vacation. Not to mention DH always wanting to bake brownies when I get blue, like for the anniversary of my Mom's passing. But the doc was mostly happy that I'm back on track, have lost down past the 190's and am in the 180's (188 again, woohoo!) and am working out and doing strength training.
I was so relieved that he wasn't upset with me for gaining the weight back, I forgot to ask him what a reasonable goal weight for me would be before going to the surgeon to look at getting a lower lift done from all the loose skin I'm going to have. Don't know why I was so anxious over the appointment, he's got to be one of the coolest doctors ever and always is looking out for his patients.
But, I digress. The reason for this post is to say that I am stepping back from SP some. I'm still going to log in every day, track my exercise and spin the wheel. I'll try to drop in the chat rooms that I have working links to, or swing by the teams and chat, but the emoticon, just for points stuff I've got to lay off of, even if it tells you how I'm doing that day. I do quite a few of them, and they take time. I will also only be blogging once a week, probably at the beginning of the week to tell you how the last week went, so I might make my day Monday or Tuesday, I'm not sure, we'll have to see. I just realized this week that I spend a lot of time on SP, and not all of it productively. I have my few friends I Sparkmail, and I was blogging almost every day there for a while, which takes me a while. Don't know why, but it does.
I promised that this year I would spend my first waking 45-60 minutes with my first cup of coffee in my new Bible/prayer corner that I'm working on. I don't want to miss out on this time and I did a few times because I got so caught up with SP. So, I'm cutting back a little and will only be doing SP after I've worked out and not before, even if I have the time. Only exception is if I have insomnia and decide to email one of my friends. And, if you ever wonder what I'm up to, you can always Sparkmail me, those I will get back to.
I'm trying to use time blocking this year, and I start on Monday. I will have a set amount of time in the afternoon just to get on the computer and SP will be a part of that, but I'll also get on SP for tracking right after I work out so I don't forget anything.
Hope you all have a great weekend and keep on Sparking!!
