This week there was a very nice NSV that came into play when I ran out of clean clothes. I pulled out a pair of jeans that I haven't had on in almost a year, they are back to being comfortable and I'm able to wear them along with some cute boots again.
While I was gaining weight I stopped buying clothes. I couldn't bring myself to buy bigger sizes, it felt like I would be admitting defeat so I stuck it out with leggings. The great thing about leggings is that they are so forgiving. This of course is also the bad thing about leggings. At one point I thought about digging out my "fat" jeans. The biggest pair I had ever bought is tucked away, I had this feeling they would fit again I had regained so much. I never pulled them out, if they had of fit I think that would have been the end of my motivation, as little as I had left. I know now if I try them on they would be way to big so they can stay in the box, I'll put them on when I reach 200 for fun.
This week's goal is 2 pounds. I've upped my workouts and today I start trail running again. And by running I mean I'll have my running gear on and will be on the the trails. I expect that my pace will be closer to a turtle slogging through peanut butter but in my mind I will be a gazelle. We leave for our trip in one week, my goal was to be under 250, now I'd like to modify that to be under 245. It will be a push but it's only two pounds and that's a healthy loss for a week.
Next month I finally get my thyroid surgery! The right one is coming out. I'm so happy!!! The node on it is huge now and pressing on my airway. I'm really hoping this get rid of the chocking feeling once it's gone and make it easier to fill my lungs when I'm running. I'm sure it will.
Restart my running program. Rebuild to 3 - 5K runs a week this month,
Weight loss. End the month at 239, this would be my half way mark for total weight loss goal.
