2nd day with you

Goodmorning, and happy Friday! Well, on my first day, I did manage to track my food and stay within my limits, but when I saw I still had calories to spare, I reached for the chocolate!! The obstacle for me personally is that I get headaches if I don't eat, and headaches if I eat the wrong thing. I think I'll buy a book on food prep. I'm sure alot of you do that. Does anyone have any good tips for us all? I know to some of us, the weekends ate like every other day in the life of eating well and tracking, but then there are those of us that are new to our challenges, and we all need encouragement to stay on track. We're all human, and do experience fall backs soon in the program. So, .y wish for everyone today, is to stay focused. Plan ahead. Drink your water, and pray for strength!! I can't wait to hear your stories, I know they're all filled with great advise and motivation. Thank you for your support. We do so much better when we're building each other up and encouraging each other.

    The biggest thing I did for me was to not make the unhealthy stuff accessible. I have a partner and roommates that make that a little tougher. I also used Shipt and get my groceries delivered. Way less temptation with online shopping.. plus I never can use the excuse I didn;t have time as far as replenishing the healthy items i need to feel full.

    I have also found that using the nutrition tracker... I don't need to be as hard on myself as I feel like I need to be. Its okay to have a little bit of chocolate... or an unhealthy snack... as long as you track it and stick within your calorie goals... not every meal, or even every day... but sometimes we just need a little something. I typically have one meal a week that I allow myself whatever I am craving... I found the last time I did this... I was craving pasta.... (alfredo)... and without even thinking about it... I ate the shrimp and broccolli out of the meal and ending up throwing away half the pasta. I think we too often feel its all or nothing... but moderation seems to be the key that is working for me.
