A "Sunny" day

My dog sitting was also g-kid sitting Friday morning. The middle one had a belly ache and headache. LOL, I wasn't so sure maybe it was "doggittis" and he wanted to be with the new dog but nah, he spent some quality time praying to the porcelain gods!
It was over and done and he swore he felt fine.
Sunny is a big girl. I'm used to small dogs, Oscar my mini-dachshund and Chewy the 9 pound Shiz-tzu, so a full-sized beagle seems large. She's solid as a rock. Sooooooo gentle. She sheds. She snores through that great snout. Her tail wags a slow roll which is good because there's weight to that wagger! Did I mention she sheds? She also smells like a dog, something I didn't have with my previous dogs. She'll be fun when she's wet!
She's a trained therapy dog who used to visit a senior home where her first owner worked. Her second owner welcomed Sunny as an emotional support dog for her child and took her to her job at a local college where she became the best friend of new, homesick students. Unfortunately the owners child developed asthma and they can't keep her.
Did I mention she sheds?
This is a week-long experiment to see if she helps with the boys.
Seeing my daughter on the floor, grinning from ear to ear, Sunny draped across her black yoga pants-covered legs coated with white dog hair I think someone has already been helped!
