Feeling Marvelous on this Monday

I feel like I'm doing great on my new plan. Have I been totally on track? NO! But I have made big strides towards my life-changing goals.
Last fall, I was chosen as a participant in our local American Heart Association's Go Red for Women health challenge. One of the physicians that I really admired spoke highly of the fasting diet. She said that her brother had done it and lost a bunch of weight while also reversing type 2 diabetes. I'm not exactly sure which plan he did as there are so many variations to the "Fasting Diet" and I don't recall her saying. After my research, I have decided that the 5:2 is what I wanted to do. I chose Mondays and Thursdays as fasting days since I don't feel like there will be too many obstacles to tackle. As I'm typing this, I realize that I will have a BIG obstacle next Monday with a work event. I'll find a solution and deal with it.
