Busy days helping family

My younger daughter and granddog 1 popped in to visit yesterday so we all trooped over to see the granddog 2 and my grandson who had just left the emergency room!
Yesterday the 6 yr old was running in school recess, fell and broke his clavicle. Mom is taking him to an orthopedic specialist today and I may walk her new dog or pick up GS1 from school or other somethings to help. Yep, that's what having kids is all about! He was quite comfortable having his sleeve pinned to his shirt and didn't look too bad for having been injured. In typical kid fashion he was more excited about having a whole package of Swedish Fish to himself AND to be able to command the TV remote!
Back to yesterday...the little 9 pound dynamo Shih tzu met the 40-50 pound wall of Basset/Beagle mix. One bark from Sunny and Chewy was reduced to hiding behind his "mom's" legs! She let him know he was visiting her house and her people even though the little one had been there many times in 3 years and thought it was "his" second house! They are going to need more time together before we are comfortable. He also "marked" his territory in the living room; something he had never done so we all knew she scared the heck out of him!
Never a dull moment!
