Spending time with the one I love in wonderful chaos.

It wasn't the blog I was going to write but it works!
42 years ago there was 3 feet of snow, roads and businesses were closed and we were young.
Our "first" wedding was in the chapel with family. There was no other way and since we were living together, much to the dismay of both sets of parents, we tied the knot. I guess I was very "progressive".
We held the "real" wedding 3 months later to another 3 feet of snow and managed to have our full regalia and guests.
Moved into our first home in an ice storm.
Brought both kids home in the snow.
Second house was August. We got smarter.
We've had good and bad times. Joy, anger, broken hearts, broken bones, weddings, funerals.
Good and really bad health.
Here we sit today with tissues and various cold remedies. Me almost better and him unable to talk with his sore throat. A sexy dinner tonight of chicken soup.
Can it get any better than this?
Alan Jackson sang it best: Remember When.
