... Procrastination, a bad word and state of mind

Procrastination is real in my world where the temperatures dip to -40 and the thought of stepping outside to even get grocies makes one want to crawl back in bed. This is the real struggle.

I stepped on the scale yesterday and felt a little like cheering; as I was down 4 lbs since I recommitted to logging foods, challenging myself to check in daily, and preparing myself mentally for the temperatures we face in January.

My struggle is real and finding the time to do any amount of exercise without losing sleep, which is important is hard. Therefore, my goal this month has been to simply prepare food instead of taking the convenience way out (which is fast food). Something I have come to rely on heavily, because of a lack of desire to figure out - "What's for dinner?" It is a mindset thing and making that decision after studying for school at 6:00 am for 3 hours and working for 9 hours -- I want to simply call it a night! Nothing wrong with that... except, the fat, calories and sodium one consumes. The one thing that is motivating me... I am taking a nutrition class that I find very interesting ...

So, here's to new goals and challenges for January - stay warm and keep moving forward! I am truly motivated by some of the amazing posts of others and those who struggle, help me to not feel alone - those who have the small victories, I am rooting for you!
