Food Prep is my Best Friend!

I like to food prep ahead of time. One thing that happens when I’m not prepared is that I grab something I probly shouldn’t because it’s fast.

Recently one thing slowing me down was smoothie prep, days I’m not prepared I tend to think a smooth will be fast. But it hasn’t been, due to the fact I needed to take out bags of berries and fruit and wash spinach and cut bananas and it turned out to be time consuming. Just as if I had to cook something.

I decided to make the smoothies up into jars to freeze. Some do this in baggies, but I wanted to reuse the jars and not be so wasteful. Once the smoothie is done I just dump it back into the jar and use that as my cup. I just add almond milk and a little plain unsweetened yogurt into the blender and it’s so much faster.





Taking the time to food prep each week really keeps me going!
