Update: parameters for minerals etc

Okay, Here are the basics, short and sweet.
Keep blood sugars and blood pressure under control by following the INDIVIDUALIZED diet and medications your medical team advises.
As for sodium, aim for 1500 mg to 2000 mg daily intake
Potassium, aim for 1000 mg to 2000 mg daily intake
If possible have your vitamin D and B6 and B12 levels checked and take supplements as advised and/or prescribed. Some insurances don't want to pay for these, so talk to them first...
Try to keep magnesium between 310 mg and 320 mg daily
Read labels and avoid processed foods, especially those listing phosphorous or phosphates as additives...
Also, limit dairy products to one serving a day (8oz milk or 1oz cheese...) or avoid them altogether.
