I’ve been on a great exercise streak!
I am mixing up running & walking - getting in 4 miles per day. The weather has been in the 40’s and 50’s, so I haven’t had to use my treadmill in weeks. I spent 5 days in Florida, outside everyday, too. I’m keeping my weight level. I’d like to lose a couple more pounds for wiggle room, but, I noticed I feel hungry quite a bit when I do start to drop. Just gotta figure out the right number.
I got back into yoga. I decided to try Adriene Mishler. I love her videos! She offers 30 day themes every month. And they are free! She is easy to follow. She has a lot of other free yoga videos for all sorts of ailments, injuries, etc. My back and leg are doing great. Here’s the link to her website for you to copy and paste:
Today I had to get a biopsy of a spot on my spine. (Nothing came up on the bone marrow biopsy). I have a big feeling nothing will show on this either. My biggest hope is that they find something I had a long time ago and I’m good now. If nothing shows up, I have to get another cat scan in March for the spots in my lungs and spleen. I’ve been focusing a lot with my breathing - another yoga plus. My lungs are getting stronger with all of my physical activity.
At any rate, my oncologist said if I do have cancer, I’m ahead of the game.
And, I gotta say, I’m handling all of this very well. This has been going on since April. Hubby is still the only one who knows, and I only think about it when I am off to an appointment. I’m feeling the best I’ve been since my son got sick. It’s so nice to feel healthy!!
