Progress and goals

Well once again I'm looking back on the last month and saying what the heck? What happened to my goals? I did make the one week goal of not eating my trigger food of chocolate but of coarse when the week was over it was hello my friend! I feel like I've cut down some. The scale did go down a couple pounds but I'm not making the progress I would like. I'm over tired. Not using my recumbent like I wanted . I'm emotional eating AND I'm eating to stay awake. High sugar foods at that so I know at this rate the scale won't stay down for long. The thing that's motivating me currently? Vacation. March25th. I want to be able to go to Texas and wear shorts or dresses and not look like or feel like a beached whale so everything in moderation right?

    Losing a few pounds is still progress. It's not always about the scale victories but those non scale victories too. Remember progress over perfection.

    Good luck and don't worry about how you look. You probably will never see those people in Texas again anyway so who cares...AND family will love you no matter what.
