How has week 3 on the AWESOME A team (5% Challenge) gone for me?

I'll let the below speak for me:

The Very Awesome Badge: It's given out to any member on the AWESOME A team who reports Sat thru Fri with at least 5 days of exercise at 30 mins or more.

emoticon I've been at this for 9 years so yes, my exercise should be this good or more. Well, as long as my body doesn't get ickkkk!! Regular readers you know it's not uncommon for my foot to break etc.



Next is the "Last A Standing". Last A Standing are the members who either before the first week of the 5% Challenge begins or in the first week who are on the AWESOME A Team (hence Last A Standing) sign up wanting to lose weight week. There is ONE Grace week for members should a weigh in not result in a loss.

Each week we can earn another badge, or receive the grace, or hey, we at last gave it our best shot!!!

So far I've not used a grace period.



And the 1 below some of you have already seen. I'll still include it because i am working my silly self to the bone,, OH I HOPE SO LITERALLY!! emoticon !!

I'll soon be out of the obese category I surah do hope!!

The 5% Challenge has 12 teams (the Awesome A team is one of those 12) and runs for 8 weeks. It's during the 8 weeks that we all try to lose 5% Of our weight. At times I've not lost, sometimes I've gained, but each one of those times, I was learning more and more about myself. Believe me those gains/not losing were WORTH IT!! If you are there now, take courage and heart, you are learning about yourself and it will pay off. Please don't be upset, you are here, you have that desire.

I started on 1/11/2020 at 179.4 and on this past Saturday (Saturday is the official weigh in day, though we can weigh in before that) and I weighed in at 174.3!! I now have 4.3 to go in the next 5 weeks!! I am HOPEFUL and I KNOW from the times I went up or didn't lose, to not go and grab a whoopie pie (A FAVORITE Treat that I can EASILY live without) to celebrate a loss!! See I've learned, as many do.

I've lost 50% Of my 5% Goal (9 lbs)

    Hello, fellow 5% er. I am on the Shooting Stars team. It is great to be on a team and have the accountability and support. We are close in our starting weight and loss so far. However, my go-to is a cold beer and not a Whoopie Pie.

    I just checked your info. You have done an awesome job at weight loss before this challenge even started. Obviously the odd go-to Whoopie Pie is not hurting you much. Congratulations!
