Gushing tributes to love abound today, lineups at the flower counters in stores are huge with men making a last minute gesture, restaurants fully booked and seduction is in the air. One only has to observe the actions of the wild birds to know that "love" is blooming.
I read this last night and had a grand chuckle:
That was a brilliant read! I must confess... I was really pleased that the community feed largely focused on universal love and love of self. The few that were all about romantic love came across as self-serving and fell a bit flat. Thanks for the share... and happy Valentine's Day! 51 days ago
I have my mom's heart-shaped aluminum cake pans from the 1950s, too! When she passed away, I just had to keep them. Today, however, I bought a small chocolate mousse for DH and a creme broulee for myself at $2 each! I think that's a good deal. That gave me more time to work on our club's website...something mom never even knew about.
Hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day, maybe even a romantic one for some of us! 51 days ago
Some great quotes from some great people!
It would have been my parents' 78th anniversary today. And I still have my mother's aluminum heart-shaped cake pans that date from some time in the 1950's. I no longer bake heart-shaped cakes, but have kept them anyway. Happy Valentines Day! 52 days ago
