Goals & Gratitude 2/15/20

I finished my winter session class today, so I am officially on break for the next two months. I am so happy about that! I am not sure of my grade, but I should get an A as I scored mostly As on everything. I am still waiting for the extra credit to apply and for some of the final assignments to be graded. I will know by the middle of next week.
Intermittent Fasting is going okay. It started off bumpy but I'm getting a little better every day. I have an app on my phone that reminds me to either eat or fast. I am reminding myself in the evenings when I want to snack, "Just not right now. Tomorrow." That kinda works, but I am still hungry a lot at night from the medication. I talked with my doctor on Wednesday and we decided that rather than me going on a new drug, I should taper off the one that causes hunger and take a slightly larger dose of my main bipolar medication. I have dropped from 125 mg. to 100 mg. of the offending drug but am still seeing side effects. My doctor is hoping that I don't have to go off of it completely but that I won't see side effects on a lower dose. I will taper down to 75 mg. next Wednesday, so we'll just have to see how the side effects are. I also have to be careful and be aware of my moods to make sure I don't become manic. It'll be a long process, I think.
My goal is to lose three more pounds by the end of the month and to get back down to where I was about January 1st. I regained about 6 pounds after 1/1 and am now relosing them. I am back to exercising more which is helping.
1) Clean off the dining room and coffee tables, sort through the mail, and take out the recycling.
2) Go for a nice, long walk.
3) Clean out the fridge.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) That I am completely done with my class.
2) That I am down a pound this weekend.
3) That I have time to relax tonight.
