I hate these blah, rainy days. Makes my joints ache and feel tired. I'm hoping for warm weather soon. Please let me see the Sun shine.

The gray skies with little sun is EXACTLY why this winter has seemed so long to me! Even though we've gotten a lot of snow (I'm guessing we'll break over 300 inches this winter) I don't mind it as long as we get breaks between storms and the blue skies appear. I'm talking seriously with DH about getting out of town more next winter - somewhere we can see the GROUND!

I can commiserate with your blah. I lived in Indiana for many years and it seemed like it was 4 months of overcast, bone-chilling, wet slog. We moved to Colorado 5 years ago. One of the best things about Colorado is 300+ days of sun. I can handle the cold as long as the sun shines. However, there's always trade-offs. Today, we had winds gusting to 60mph and it's going to be zero tonight. I still took the dog out for a 1 mile walk, which was more than invigorating. I bought a used Wii and find it helpful to "recharge my batteries" when I'm stuck inside. Good luck.

I think we will have another rainy day tomorrow and then it's going to get cold again for a couple of days. Wish there was more sunshine in Ohio winters.
