Who let the craziness escape when the moon isn't even full?

This will be short! Today was yet another long, challenging and crazy day!

Yesterday I didn't write a blog because it was such a lousy day and today was just a continuation of the chaos. Two of my girl students started acting up seriously at the end of the day. They were in line to get on the bus. They started showing off, flipping off the aide, making threats to my aide and me. The bell rang and they turned and ran in the opposite direction so I had to chase them as they ran towards the entire swarm of kids going out to the buses. The principal, the facility's staff member and a male aide blocked their way and they were escorted to their bus.

They arrived this morning in a rare mood and by 9:00 a.m., they started acting up. One threw over her desk and then they refused to work, started name-calling, cursing and threatening the adults and other kids. It escalated and they were separated with one taken to the calm down room. There, she stripped and urinated on the mats, kicked, hit, pulled hair and screamed profanity at the principal and all of the other adults.. She was suspended from school for the rest of the week. At that point, the other one really started acting up. She was determined she was going to get suspended too. The principal was equally determined that she was NOT going home. She spent most of the day in the calm down room working. She made threats and cursed a lot but she calmed down, then started back up until just about the end of the day . . . LOOONNGG day!

I wish tomorrow will be better, but with my aide and both facility staff being absent tomorrow, I don't know if I'll have subs, but it doesn't bode well for a great day whether or not we get subs.

Found out that the little girl I mentioned with the brain tumor is going to have a very long journey as it is malignant and chemo does not work on the type of is. Lisa's daughter is now being treated for her undiagnosed diabetes but she will also need a pacemaker.

I am tired but tomorrow has promise for a positive end of my day since I have a 90 minute massage scheduled for 5:30.

Be blessed and the blessing that others need in their lives!
