Goals & Gratitude 3/10/20

Things are going well here, even though I'm not sleeping well. It takes me hours to fall asleep on Monday and Wed. nights knowing I have to get up the next day. Then when I do fall asleep, I wake up easily an hour or two before my alarm goes off. I wish I was a better sleeper, but I never have been. I am often so wired at night that I struggle to sleep, even when I am very, very tired. I am like a toddler that has to run around to get tired and fall asleep. I think one of the problems is that I have had very little time to exercise recently. I have been trying to fit in walks when I can, but it is difficult to squeeze them in. And it is supposed to rain all week, so I certainly won't be walking this week. I am grateful for the rain, don't get me wrong! We so need it. I won't have time to walk or go to the gym tomorrow, but I will on Friday, so that's where I'll go in the afternoon.
The Coronavirus/Covid-19 thing is getting serious here in So. Cal. There is one reported case here in Riverside and one in Anaheim near where I work. My boss is making plans for all of us to work remotely should it be necessary. Since we are a paperless office, this won't be difficult, but it will require a lot of IT support to get everyone set up on their home computers. We shall see what happens in the next couple of weeks, I guess.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) The rain. I saw a beautiful rainbow as I was driving home from work.
2) That my boss has a plan.
3) That I lost 1/2 pound this week.
