Getting back in the grind

I decided against working with Popeye's too. Dairy Queen has me running ragged right now, trying to get back into the swing of working and being on my feet. On the plus side, my coworkers (with the exception of one person - there's always that one person huh?) are awesome! I seem to mesh pretty well with everyone.
My feet still ache and throb when I get off work, my back is frozen, my knee is bothering me really bad.... I LOVE IT! LOL It sounds crazy, but just knowing I'm doing something to take care of my family is amazing. Yes, the aches and pains make me feel old, and I can't do much when I get home, but at least I'm doing the best I can at work. My GoogleFit app told me that I did 90 move minutes yesterday! Not sure how all that works and how it counts the "minutes" because I was definitely moving a lot more than 90 minutes at work. LOL
Last night, the girl I worked with on the grill asked me to clean out the gaskets in the coolers. She told me that while I was down there (under the prep table) to wipe down the cooler shelves. I attempted it, but my knee gave out so I told her I tried, but it just wasn't going to happen today. She was really nice about it (at least to me...she was probably complaining to the manager, but whatever.).... At least I tried.
Six hours today and tomorrow, then I'm off for 2 days! Wednesday can't get here fast enough. I'm not doing a dang thing Wednesday, if I can help it. We have to brave the stores and see what foods are left (idiots) because we need food and my guinea pigs need veggies. We'll bounce from store to store all over town if we have to.
I gotta run to the smoke shop in a few and see how much their vapes are. I haven't been able to quit smoking yet, but at work, I try to space them out to about every 2 hours. But the managers said that we can vape in the back of the store, so I'm going to try and pick one up today...Just to help me get through the rushes, and maybe cut my smoke breaks down even more. Then I'll be off to work. Hopefully it's busy enough to keep me moving. I don't seem to hurt as bad when I'm focusing on cooking or something. It's the standing around or cleaning that hurts the most.
Until next time, Sparkers!
