My Adventure's in Spark Land...Day 229 of having fun: Happy 1st Day of Spring

Thursday, March 19, 2020

"It's the first day of spring-right? So why am I still freezing and there's snow in the forecast? Stupid Groundhog!" ~goggle palooza

emoticon Lol I saw this and it was 100% right. Tues night I heard 4 inches of snow coming Wed night into Thur. Wed night I heard rain Wed night turning to snow on Thur. The 'specialist' tells us snow will not kill this virus! Nice try Mother Nature! Happy 1st Day of Spring!

emoticon My son decided only to come home to bring me food then go back when 'Spring Break' is over. The 3 people I have talk to by phone feels the virus will be contain soon. It's taken China 3-4 months to stop it. I don't know!

emoticon Hallmark is putting out 2 new movies Saturday plus they are bring out Christmas movies. emoticon To be honest, Christmas movies don't excite me right now. But if you love Christmas movies, Hallmark will have them!

emoticon I am doing nothing special to celebrate the first day of spring.

emoticon For day 229 what did I do for fun?

*I talked to me aunt, my married brother, and a friend.

*I want to learn about our 4th president James Madison but somehow I ended up getting James Monroe stuff-lol! So I did both. In 2000 the state got back James Madison's house and has been restoring that in the land since. You can tell Thomas Jefferson helped plan James house also. It was interesting George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison estate focuses a lot on slaves on their estate. James Monroe they think the found the foundation on his estate but am not sure. Those 5 were the founding Fathers of the USA! Also I watched a video on the history of the unknown soldiers. Hey, good to learn stuff to keep your mind busy when one is isolated from the world.

*I decided to enjoy 3 Disney movies yesterday (yesterday's, today's, and tomorrow's). I watched: "Pluto's sweater' & 'Pluto's surprise package' both were 6 minutes and cute. Also "Ichabod & Mr. Toad". One half was a story from 'The Willow book" and the other half a story of Ichabod Crine. I saw on U-tube Disney did have a ride based on 'Mr. Toad' but they updated it but there is still some hidden Mr. Toad's in the ride. All 3 were made in 1949. Saturday I get to start the Disney movies made in 1950's!

emoticon emoticon emoticon Enjoy the 1st day of Spring rather it's sunny, rainy, snow, or a mixture!
