Amazing to read my blogs and see my Spark page from four years ago. Yet, here I am removing all distractions to truly meet my healthy goal weight.
During the four years, I have learned a lot about foods..what is good, bad and best choice for me. Just by changing my eating habits I went from 194 in 2018 to 167 lbs in 2019.
A couple of days later, I got the pneumonia in September 2019. Once I got back on the scale, my weight went up to 174 eventually climbing up to 178.
This September I will turn 50. I have 47 unhealthy pounds to loose in 5 1/2 months. Totally doable IF i choose to loose 2 lbs. a week because there are 24 weeks until my birthday. I just need to be diligent and be physically active.
Starting today since I'm working from home until further notice, I going to take full advantage of this situation. On my lunch break I can go down to the city park and take a face pace walk. Eventually working my way up to a light jog to maybe a light run. For my breaks, I have a medicine ball I do some reps with and mix it up with a 30 day planking for beginners. And then there is my gardening. That is a workout in itself, but love it!
I 'm so glad there is a blog option here. I feel good typing this out.
