Allergies are bothering me; my knee hurts, my energy level is low, the weather is awful.
How can you perk me up?

My dearest friend, I really feel for you. It’s evidently not a good day! But I can easily perk you up by reminding you all the good days you had just before this one.
Starting with your determination to change your lifestyle for a healthier one, the plan you wrote down in your journal, all the actions you take daily to reach your goals, and look at the results, not even a month went by and the scale is showing 10 pounds less. That is actions speaking for themselves.
My dear friend, you can be proud of yourself, and as you always say, tomorrow will be a better day. I am truly confident that you will go through this bad day quickly. You let me know tomorrow, I can hear you tell me how proud you are, considering everything.
