A new sense of calm

I feel strangely calm today.

Last night the UK Prime Minister announced a 'stay home' policy. We received GOV.UK texts on our mobiles with the rules. A helicopter flying around this morning made me wonder if it was police surveillance.

But strangely, this new clarity (well, 'stay home' clarity) is easier for me than the 'not sure' state. There's still a lot of confusion about who needs to do what, for how long etc. Bottom line is that they don't know who has already had the virus, who is carrying the virus without symptoms - it's like a blindfold sword-fight! Very risky.

I've been swamped with ideas and information. But I think I've chosen my nest, so to speak.

I did PE with Jo Wicks this morning on You Tube - and I think that will be my go-to place every morning. My brother sent me a link to a lovely Qi Gong routine - and I think that will be my go-to place every evening.

My eating has settled down nicely too, thank goodness!

I've been listening to two main You Tube bloggers - Russel Brand, and Dr John Campbell.

I have my bullet journal working for me again.

I have cut out the material for 5 more masks, made from a pillow case - so will be less bulky that the first one I made using a tea-towel.



Right now I'm going to practise my recorder. Then I might clear out my inbox before going to work.

I hope you are finding your own calm spots in this chaos too.

PS work (later) is sure to throw up new anxieties............
