Well, doncha jess wish that vacuuming was the last thing on yer mind?---
-that playing hide and seek at Grammas might be fun---
I can remember going to Grammas was the absolute best thing ever!
Dad used to drive us all from Windsor , along a 2 lane highway--Hwy #2 ---to Port Perry--
There were no McDonalds --but there were picnic tables along the hwy, and Dad had a Coleman stove which he set up on the picnic table , and he cooked pork and beans --with wieners in it--They tasted like Heaven!
It took us all day to get there .
My Grampa with my oldest brother -
Gramma's house seemed huge ---
We used to slide down this curved bannister in the front hall--nearly drove my Mom crazy as she told us that we one day would fall.
Grampa always hid my doll--- which made me cry--- so after he produced the doll, after the weeping and wailing stopped, he would grab my both hands, and say, "a heel and a toe , and away we go"-- and I felt so special, dancing up and down his kitchen.
Memories ---so happy to have them!
Himself is now vacuuming--gave up on me--
Lord love a duck---- I best get going---
"Use our head" to avoid this virus- WE CAN DO THIS!
