April Thoughts & Exercise Ideas

Wednesday, April 01, 2020

Welcome to April!

Who knew when March started the whole world would go crazy? If you have students in school, and they're going to distance learning for the rest of the year, please be patient with your teachers. This is a big change for everyone... students, parents and teachers.

One of my "Fast Break Goals" is going to the gym. I had it set for twice a week, but then changed it to three times a week. Not long after that all of the gyms were shut down. So, now instead of changing it or deleting the goal I've had to make my own changes. We had built a home gym several years ago. It isn't anything fancy, but it works. I'm going down there now to count for my gym time. To get my steps in each day I'm trying to go for a walk around the neighborhood or to our city park. They built a walking trail which is about .81 miles around. I am not counting walking as my gym time. I am counting doing Zumba since I was doing that at the gym.

I'm attaching some workout ideas. I've tried to include different levels and something for kids.

Here's a 30 day fitness challenge for kids. If you'll use the link you'll be able to print off the calendar along with the task cards needed.
