It's been a bit

So much has happened since my last blog. Working, got sick, mom's friend moved in with her..... But I'm still here and TRYING to do my best with my diet. It's not working so well.
So, I had almost completely cut out cokes. I would maybe have 2-3 per week. Now that I'm working (at a fast food place), I've brought back sodas. I'm drinking 2-3 a day, depending on if I'm at work or not and how thirsty I get. I work the grill, so it gets pretty warm in there. Plus side, I don't eat hardly anything when I'm at work (too hot or too busy). I get to bring food home sometimes, so that's not very good, but I guess an occasional splurge (maybe 2x a week) is ok.
I woke up on the 21st with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Texted my boss and left it up to him on whether I should come in or not. He told me to stay home. Wife booted me out of our motorhome, into another one, for quarantine. Other than running errands, I was stuck in there for 10 days. I didn't really feel sick. Just more like I had allergy issues, along with migraine and nausea...my every day life, basically. I'm back among the living now, so that's a good thing. I also went back to work yesterday.
One of my managers told me that one of the guys there (that I, and really everyone else there, can't stand) came to work (I don't know exactly when this happened), worked a couple of hours, and told everyone that he had COVID-19. I don't know if he was just saying it for a pity party, or if he really had it. (He's a young 18-yr-old punk). A part of me hopes that he was just making it up, instead of knowingly contaminating the whole place. The other part of me is glad that he's not there. He's currently under complete lockdown quarantine (at least I hope he is staying at home).
I hope everyone is staying healthy and sane right now. My 10 days of quarantine wasn't much different that my usual life, but it still drove me bonkers, knowing I wasn't allowed to go anywhere. If it's my choice to stay home, that's one thing; but being forced to stay home makes me go crazy. Thank goodness I had my xbox, books, and phone!!!
We are currently in a statewide stay in shelter. Only get out for essentials, or you can get fined a hefty penny. Luckily, being out in the sticks where I am now, there hasn't been but a couple of cases in the whole county, so I'm thankful I don't still live in the city.
I guess that's it for now... Until next time, Sparkers! Stay safe, stay sane, and stay healthy!!
