Today I'm making whole wheat bread.
I used my packages of frozen milk and frozen eggs (my COVID hoard)
Watch the yeast bubble while it proofs in warm H2O and C12H22O11(sugar)
Knead by hand for about ten minutes then lovingly watch it replicate and grow into a 1950's "Blob" movie monster.
Whack it down. Total therapy!
Assist the creature to divide into two; telophase into cytokinesis.
Re-form into two loaves.
Allow for all that replication to occur again and at just the right moment send it screaming for mercy into a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
My house smells comforting (awesome).
Tap on the loaf and listen for a hollow sound. At this point there should no longer be any whimpering from the "blob".
It's done.
So is my diet.
