How’s it going?

Sunday, April 05, 2020

It seems that Some folks aren’t accustomed to spending so much time together.

I’m really thankful DH and I really like each other’s company..... and have our own, separate work spaces where we can pursue our hobbies and projects

Are you trying or learning anything new?

What do you miss most about your life “pre-quarantine “?

What are looking forward to when life gets back to “normal”?

I miss my book clubs. Video meetings just don't do it for me. Otherwise, things aren't much different from my beforehand habits.

I've only taken a couple walks. We have to stick close to the house. The neighboring parks are closed. Can't meet with friends. That was the fun part--everyone walking together.

However, I have many things to do around this house and that will keep me busy for a while. I made five masks yesterday and today, for my husband and for myself, for our two grandsons, and for our daughter.

I like the idea of slowing down. We were always so busy, running around from one commitment to the other. I rarely had a day to stay home. I am actually enjoying this, but I don't know how I'll feel after several months.

What I do need to do now is eat less. So I will focus on that.

I am loving all the extra family time. We get along very well. I miss going out to eat. Restaurants are generally our main form of entertainment. As for the new, I'm trying new recipes...some good...some not to be repeated.

I would be in trouble if I didnt like spending time with my hubby when I live and work with him. :)

Funny meme---#1---I am happy to say my hubby and I get along in blue skies or storms. I am also glad he is not one who sits on his rear end watching me do all the work, but rolls back his sleeves--And if I ask him to help clean up the kitchen after dinner--he jumps up and does not whine or moan. But since he has been laid off---he is cooking a lot of the meals too.
You Ask what I miss about before all this began and I would say my own routine. I fixed his lunch, saw him off for work and loved spending time in my study writing--and an online class. I am planning to get back on track Monday morning---and pick up where I left off. At first, I kind of worried about him being laid off from a job he enjoyed going to and a great boss/ friend---But he is adjusting well and staying strong.

Honestly, the only change is it's ore difficult to get supplies, but otherwise, life goes on. Church is different, obviously, too, being on the net. BUT that's all right.
