Walking my neighborhood. Flower edition.
Monday, April 06, 2020
It seems just yesterday I had mentioned I wasn't feeling so "Sparky" and had not blogged much. Now you're stuck with me daily!
Against doctors advice, I HAVE to walk to get some cardio. I think perhaps I will see a knee replacement sooner than later because of it. Dang. I miss my gym bike where I could work up a sweat without knee pain.
Here is a bit of my walk yesterday and the reasons my nose is blocked up!
Some kind of ornamental cherry or apple? I never see fruits on the summer branches.
Many of my neighbors have had these trees for decades. Here's a tulip tree. Pretty but the yard gets so dirty!
Nature added these to the verge on my block.
These flowers are fairly new to my area, some invasive ground cover. One yard on my block is entirely covered in it!
The leaves are filling in on all trees, Now my view through neighborhoods is getting blocked. My rose bushes are covered in unfurling leaves still red-green in their infancy. I can trim the dead branches before they get covered!
Work for today will be outside with sunshine. Masking for multiple reasons!
