Hello again

Hello to my dear Sparkly buddies. How have you been?
I've had an interesting time since I checked in last. It was long ago. Had my house burned down last time I blogged? Anyway, there have been many changes.
I hope we are all surviving the Covid era OK. We are in lockdown here and luckily the weather is kind but TBH it is mid autumn and the cold weather is on its way, with the first snow sprinkle this weekend.
Looking forward to checking in to see how you have all been.

    What a hard time you've been through, but it's good to hear the hopeful, upbeat tone in your words. I hope you've been able to move into your new home by now and that you find it a good place for a lockdown. I do hope all this is over before too long, and we can settle into a new, better reality.

    Take care. I do envy you for entering what's my favorite season as we rapidly approach mosquito time up here in Japan!

    Hello again to you too - and welcome back! Gosh you had a spate of scary things roll across your world the past 2 years. I'm glad to hear you're back in your house and I hope you've managed to, as you say, only fill it with things that bring you joy.

    I am by no means the spare decorator that Marie Kondo is - but I will say that I love most of what's in my house and even more interesting - I rather like house cleaning, which feels to me like a chance to pet my stuff - the way I pet my dog. I love this stuff so dusting it is a kind of caress.

    Ha! so I shall keep on caressing my spring and winter wardrobe as I make the switch. And remember to pass on what I don't love! Thanks for the bloglove stay warm
