Just when I'm ready to throw the towel in, my friend Beth wrote another great blog titled "Feet On Scales". I want to share my journey like she does.. being totally open; so, I'm going to start with my stats from the 5% Challenge..
My Starting Weight on 4/4/20 (241.6 lbs)
Week 1 4/11/20 (237.0 lbs)
Week 2 4/18/20 (238.4 lbs)
Week 3 4/25/20 (249.8 lbs) Saturday
By Sunday I hit (250 lbs) and I was broken and depressed.. Saturday was a day of shame and embarrassment having to post my weight for the week. Was even asked if I accidentally posted the wrong number.. Boy, how I WISH!
Well, Beth is doing something new that I want to try and that is she's going to post images of her scale weekly; however, I might try doing it daily.. and that is so I can journal daily.. I haven't worked out all the kinks yet.. but, it will look something like this....
Saturday was a big shock to me! However, the doctor told me my thyroid is all messed up from switching medications. My Pharmacist had switched my thyroid medication on me.. I'm pretty sure that has got to be the main problem..
Some of this damage is from over indulgence .. I was eating bread again and hot dogs, high sodium!
Today I decided to go high protein, low carb and not throw the towel in!
I need my support team [Shooting Stars]; plus, I am blessed to have two of the best friends! Hope and Beth, both Rock!
