Day...48

Monday, May 04, 2020

I swear, if I didn't have my Instagram account, I'd have no idea how long we've been in lock down / quarantine in Ohio. They were supposed to lift this on May 1, but at the last minute they decided to extend it. Ok, no problem. We're reopening in phases. We're still in phase 1 obviously. We extended our quarantine a day after Illinois did, which is were my BF is. Today, they HAD to wear masks in public. Last I heard, those are optional in OH, but highly recommended.
I am watching our show schedule for June fall apart. Only 1 is standing as of today - Steel City Con. I've got friends in PA, and they said their Governor has declared no large events until after the 1st of the year. Steel City does a show 3xs a year. So, we'll see what happens.
On the bright side, the Pierogi Festival I planned to go to in March has been rescheduled again for November. It's gonna be cold at the Fairgrounds, but I hope this goes off for them. First year event, is always hard to begin with. And, they were sold out. I noticed the rescheduled days are now listed as 4.
Weighed in today. At least I am consistent. I gained .02 pounds. I'll take it. I do have to remind myself that Tiramisu Oreos are not a major food group. (But, they are so addicting!)
Been keeping myself busy with other things, like our local meetup group. We have another virtual gaming event in May, and tonight we're doing a watch party to stream A New Hope, in honor of May 4th.
Let's hope May is good to us all.... emoticon
