oh my gosh! It's a Symphony!

Wednesday, May 06, 2020

My daughter who is 28 and lives 2 hours from us in NJ, will not be able to come up for Mother;s Day because she works with the public and is afraid of possibly carrying some virus particles to her father or I because both of us are very high risk for a lethal case of COVID19.

So she has been mailing packages of DVD's and a card and ....oh no! A HUGE sized Symphony bar. She knows that is my very favorite candy bar....and the rules say, "You must eat the entire bar in one day so you can get all the "badness" out of the way and start fresh tomorrow." LOL... a bit of twisted logic but it is what I believe and have faithfully practiced. The candy bar is about 930 calories. So I had already had a protein drink for breakfast so for lunch and dinner were comprised of a Symphony.

And the math worked! I came in at 1140 calories for the day. (something like that). I know. I KNOW....sugar! FAT! no nutrients! Folks don't try this at home. it is not healthy. BUT, if a Symphony bar should show up in YOUR mailbox and you HAVE To eat it because to refuse would just be rude (and IMPOSSIBLE)....then maybe make it your lunch and dinner! (btw: no one tell INDYGIRL about this! but I think she might understand.)

That is hilarious!! But I definitely like that rule....and hey! treats are not off limits so if that is the way you really enjoy them then go for it! Start again the next meal!
