Remembering a very special man

Remembering this very special man who was my brother-in-law since my teen years. He was a kind and caring person, very friendly, very helpful. He never met a stranger, he'd strike up a conversation with people in stores, on the pier, walking and instantly they would know they've met an awesome person. He was loved by everyone who knew him.
Today is the 1st anniversary of the day he grew too weary to carry on and he left us to go Home. His pain was great but it is we who are now suffering, having lost him. He was a brother to me, always looked out for me, and he was a father figure to my children.
The picture above shows Les at his favourite place - Port Dover. He loved animals and birds, I think as much as he loved people. He'd feed the ducks and seagulls, walk on the pier, then take my sister and I for supper at Fisherman's Catch, where we'd gab our heads off and laugh so hard. His laughter could be heard throughout the restaurant and people would smile when they'd hear him.
He was every kind of person you could think of - kind, caring, loving, funny, laughing, helpful, and these pictures show a bit of the huge person he was in life.
May he forever rest in peace, knowing how much he was loved by all.
