It's a Done Deal

We drove over and made a deposit on the new apartment, signed the lease, and set things up to start rent next week. We did a few measurements to see how things would fit in the smaller bedroom, and it's a go.
It's going to be a bit smaller in general, but I think it's going to work out just fine once we figure out how to set everything up. We will need to get some more storage space for a few things; we're thinking a rolling island for the kitchen and some shelving units.
Things are just getting out of hand here, the noise is terrible and some of the people are getting out of hand. It seems like there are always problems to deal with, no quiet, and just too many people all the time.
Our new place is a duplex with a nice size yard and only one other duplex on the property, but some distance away. We do have neighbors on three sides, of course, but again, it's houses, not apartment buildings, and they are spread out with lots of room, trees, and yard between us.
We will be out of town a bit, but it's only five or six miles into town. I have lived in the country a couple of times, and I don't mind it at all. In fact, I'm really starting to get excited and eager to have the move start and get into the new place; it's going to make a lot of difference in exercise, stress, and hopefully sleeping better again.
