Hello Spark ppl. I so want to get rid of these 60 extra pounds. I have given up sweets, which is major for me as I am a sugar addict. I am working on making better food choices, like limited white flour. I notice that when I do eat it (Like pizza last night) my eczema gets worse as does my athlete's foot. Sorry if this is TMI. I am 47 will be 48 next week and I want to be truly transparant as I have nothing to lose. I want to be honest with myself.
I was trying to do the "Zone Diet" and it has really good things to say but it is extremely hard only eating vegetables and fruit for carbs and limited bread like products. It makes me feel like I am in food jail and I have already given up sweets.
I would really like to see my Hashimotos go into remission or at least get more energy. I have to fight taking a nap almost every day.
I have done it all....Keto..for a year.
Anti inflammatory diet.
The thing that is hard is most likely you are cutting food groups out and it is hard when the rest of your family is not eating that way. I have a 16 year old...boy. Need I say more?
Anyways...I am trying to reconnect with spark ppl and get to my goal...slow and steady.
